Ball park value of a SB 12" with 36" bed

Looking for a larger South Bend. A 12" should fill the order. I would like a 36" bed, a chuck, and an average condition machine not needing a total rebuild. Being it is a hobby there is no rush as I have a 10k. What kind of price range am I looking at ? Midwest, Mn. & Wi. area.

Do the bigger south bends measure bed length as OAL, like the 9's, or C-C?
If OAL, a 36" bed won't be much.

The SB 13 is a good lathe, and more common and inproved over the old 12 inch machines. Still small enough to be moved into awkward spots, and big enough to do some real work.

Yes. In order to have 36" between centers on a 13", you will need a 6' bed (~40" C-C)
